The Vault Creative is the result of a shared design sensibility and a lifelong love of collecting.

Founded by interior designer Elizabeth Mollen and vintage furniture dealer Ellen Ozmun, The Vault Creative grew out of years spent sourcing vintage furniture and antiques with an eye for craftsmanship, uniqueness, and timeless design. What began as a mutual appreciation for storied pieces—those with history, character, and enduring appeal—evolved into a thoughtfully curated destination for interiors and home décor.

Located in a historic building in Highland Park, just outside Chicago, The Vault Creative occupies a space with a past as rich as the collections it houses. At its center is the original fur vault—preserved and reimagined—now serving as a defining architectural feature and a reminder of the building’s layered history. This sense of old-meets-new informs every aspect of the store.

The showroom blends vintage furniture, European antiques, and globally sourced decorative objects with a refined, modern point of view. The Vault Creative also serves as the brick-and-mortar home of Stone Textile Studio, Elizabeth Mollen’s interior design firm and product line, offering a full collection of designer wallpaper, textiles, and rugs that balance classic references with contemporary scale and pattern.
